Don’t Sweat It Fest Showcases Art, Music, and More at 8th Annual Event

The 8th annual Don’t Sweat It Fest 2019 will be held June 20-22 at The Courtroom at Getty’s Art Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This 3-day festival features music, art, beer, and food from local vendors. Performances range from punk rock, experimental psych, and hip-hop. Tickets are only $15 per day or $25 for the entire weekend. Purchasers of the weekend pass will get a Don’t Sweat It Fest pin.


Featured during the fest is the Rock Hill Art Market presented by W.A.M.A. (We Also Make Art). W.A.M.A. is “…a collective artists’ organization that exists to facilitate collaboration, promotion, and documentation of our members’ creative projects”. Local vendors will be exhibiting ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, zines, fine art, crafts, home goods, and more. The Art Market will be located in the Getty’s Art Center on the 1st floor and will be open June 20-21 from 5-10 pm and June 22 from 4-10 pm. On Saturday Taco Boiiz will sell empanadas. The Courtroom bar will be serving beer and other beverages throughout the duration of the event.

Don’t Sweat It Fest is presented by Concerts at the Courtroom. Established in 2010, Concerts at the Courtroom is an event-booking project that primarily focuses on indie, rock, and punk acts. Located in the Getty’s Art Center, The Courtroom was established with support and sponsorship from the Arts Council of York County. Extra Chill and Pabst Blue Ribbon are also sponsors of the fest.
