Get Into Spring at the Merck Mountain Jam

CENTRAL, SC — If you’re not barefoot and dancing in the grass this time of year, don’t miss out: Get yourself to Central for the Merck Mountain Spring Jam.
The weekend festival will highlight area musicians in a lively community atmosphere surrounded by vendors, artists, food and drink, and more. Primitive on-site camping is also available for the true festival vibe. And the price is right, as tickets for the full weekend are just $15, including campsite. Proceeds from the event will benefit Helping Hands of Clemson Inc., a local nonprofit facility that provides shelter and necessities for abused and neglected children.

Bands representing a wide range of music genres will perform in front of an iconic barn, definitely not letting you forget your surroundings. Musical performers for the 2018 event include the fuzzed-guitar-driven Seven Year Witch; a transmission of classic rock from space known as Thermonuclear Rodeo; and singer-songwriters Rush Morgan (folk/acoustic) and Chapman Suther (rock/indie). Also on the bill is the party-rock outfit Famous Last Words Band, hip-hop artist Sympl, and many more. Music lovers of all ages are encouraged to dance and sing, and to meet and mingle with the artists before and after the performances.

The Merck Mountain Spring Jam is presented by Merck Mountain Events, Two3FourEntertainment and Community First Real Estate.
