On June 21, we had the opportunity to catch a stacked Atlanta show at a landmark hangout. The Clermont Lounge operates as the city’s first and oldest strip-club, and its patrons seem to relish in the aged and disheveled nature of both the venue itself, and its famed dancers. Such a respectable dive is the perfect place for a loud, wet, crowded rock show. The lineup for the evening was enough to travel for, as bringing Atlanta’s Baby Baby, the Joy Kills, and Pretty Please to one stage is a loaded night of music. The evening was made even more special by the fact that Pretty Please celebrated the release of their new E.P. Fur Model, and Baby Baby frontman Fontez Brooks celebrated his birthday.
