The Future is Now! – Future Chord Fest 2018

Future Chord Fest 2018 – Aug. 10-11
Greenville, S.C.
The third-annual Future Chord Festival kicks off tonight with several key changes that organizers hope will attract crowds to hear music by up-and-coming bands from across the region.

This year’s Future Chord has been expanded from one day to two, Aug. 10-11, and has been moved to the Radio Room in Greenville.

This year’s music lineup includes Daddy’s Beemer from Charlotte, Easley’s Tides in Transit, and Slow and Steady out of Nashville. The show will also feature a unique performance from Asheville’s RBTS WIN featuring hip-hop act Spaceman Jones and The Motherships from Charlotte. Other acts include Pure Ghost, Slow and Steady, and Finding Freedom.

Past Future Chord festivals have hosted notable acts such as Art Contest, We Roll Like Madmen, Grand Prize Winners From Last Year, and Brother Oliver. This mix of rock, electronic, hip-hop, and folk styles pulls a diverse crowd of young music lovers for the event. Local art/clothing/novelty vendors will also be on site, helping to support the local independent craft art scene.

Tickets for the event are available through Eventbrite, and are $12 for a single day or $20 for the weekend.
